![how do you prepare for something you’ve never done before.. especially when you’re doing it alone?👀 [ad]
before my first solo backpacking trip, i was SO nervous and had NO idea where to start.. like what route do i take? where do i sleep? where do i find water along the way?
so i used @alltrails Peak to plan it all beforehand!
with the multi day trip tool i was able to map my complete route and download it. and with their other tools i checked the terrain, found shelters along the way, and located water sources - so i could go into this feeling as prepared as possible instead of hoping for the best🥹
i always go scared, but that doesn’t mean i go reckless. it means doing the prep, trusting yourself, and then taking the leap!
would you ever go on a solo backpacking trip?? :)
